About Nabelóse

DUO

Nabelóse was born by the Austrian Alps in St. Johann/Tirol, on the residency of Artacts.Their debut album „Nabelóse“ with Corvo Records in 2017 received praises in reviews and invitations to concerts like Victoriaville (Montreal), Timeless-10 (Berlin), City of Women (Ljubliana), Ausland (Berlin) and SPEICHER IV (Berlin). The composition „to be given up“ is used as filmmusic for the essayistic road movie „ARAF“ made by Didem Pekün , shown at various cinematic festivals . Nabelóse composed the music for the play „Jackie“ by Elfride Jelineck in the LAC theater/ Lugano with the director Alan Alpenfelt in 2019. OMOKENTRO, Nabelóse ́s second album , recorded live in the SPEICHER IV festival in the big water tank of Berlin, was released by bohemian drips in September 2022.

Ingrid

Ingrid Schmoliner was born in the Austrian mountains and found her way through classical piano studies and singing in Carinthia. She connects energies of ancestors, natural elements and sound worlds in her piano playing by creating new worlds of sound and consciousness. From her base in Vienna she is traveling and sharing her work on international renowned festivals and venues.Trusting in the power of music and in the connection of energies in time and layers, is her constant research. She is a co founder and curator for the contemporary music festival New Adits.

Elena

Elena was born in Greece in a greek-austrian environment. Starting from very early to trust in becoming a musician, she started her studies on the piano and voice in the age of 5. Years later the smoothness of the french horn sound captured her and guided her through Athens, Graz, Vienna and Helsinki to Berlin. Holding the knowledge of classical studies (BA, MA) she connects the roots of greek folk music to contemporary techniques and musical languages. She is a member of low brass trio Zinc& Copper, P.O.P, Stefan Schultze Large Ensemble and of zeitkratzer. Elena keeps traveling through makro and mikrocosms of sound, connects with nature and tries to enjoy every given instant of making music.
